Sanderson Design Group, an international luxury interior furnishings company has achieved the Planet Mark certification. Sustainability is at the heart of its strategy and the group is committed to running its business on sound Environmental, Social and Governance principles.
Achieving Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.
This is Sanderson Design Group’s fourth year of business carbon footprint reporting. In this Decade of Action, the company wants to ensure that they are a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring its own impact on the environment.
Since certifying to Planet Mark, the company has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. Over the next year, Sanderson Design Group will be working towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, it will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.

In April 2021, Sanderson Design Group launched its Live Beautiful sustainability strategy. As part of its wider strategy, the group is taking steps towards more sustainable ways of making luxury interior furnishings. From stretching product lifecycles to investigating new ways of sourcing energy and raw materials, it is committed to making positive change.
The company believes creating a culture of empowerment enables it to embrace the full diversity and potential of its community. Sanderson Design Group is focusing on health, safety and wellbeing; on diversity and access to its profession; on culture and inclusivity; and on learning and development.
