Description:  

We are looking for a a highly organised, super star Finance Administrator to work within our busy and growing finance team. Providing support to the Senior Finance Assistant and Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will be positive, keen to learn, passionate about sustainability and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

– Drafting of invoices for new and renewing members

– Purchase and sales ledger duties

– Credit control including sending monthly statements

– Supplier and customer setup and liaison and completing accompanying paperwork

– Ensuring accounting and CRM software is updated

– Employee expense claims

– First point of contact for finance queries

– General administration support for the Senior Finance Assistant and CFO

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

– At least a year’s experience in a similar role – either finance or administration

– Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

– Experience of generating reports and proficient in formatting

– Great communicator and confident speaking with both our staff and clients

– Highly numerate and have excellent attention to detail

– Have a passion for sustainability

– Have excellent time management and organisational skills and can deliver quality work to agreed deadlines, maintaining clear focus under pressure is a must

– Strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor

– Ability to use initiative and work with the minimum of supervision

This is a full-time position, working predominantly from home with optional team days in London once a week.

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000pa dependant on experience plus excellent benefits package and career progression opportunity.

Description:  

We are looking for a super star HR Administrator to join our busy and growing team. Supporting our People and Culture Manager and Chief Financial Officer, the ideal candidate will be positive, keen to learn, passionate about sustainability and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

– Overseeing all recruitment activity including drafting and posting job advertisements, reviewing applications, liaising with applicants and the hiring manager, arranging interviews, collating interview feedback and liaising with recruitment consultants

– Drafting of all HR paperwork including letters and contracts in accordance with our processes and set deadlines

– Setting up new staff members and ensuring the company onboarding and induction processes are followed through to completion of probation and beyond

– Keeping all employee records updated

– Assist line managers and the People and Culture Manager with the staff appraisal process

– General administration support for the team

Description

We are looking for an experienced carbon analyst with an exceptional eye for detail, and almost super-human data analyst skills, to assist our growing certification team. The certification team forms the heart of the Planet Mark, analysing our clients’ Scope 1, 2 and 3 data to allow their accreditation to the prestigious Planet Mark certification scheme. As well as working with their data you will be dealing directly with our clients that range from start-ups, SMEs to large corporates, delivering carbon footprint analyses, carbon footprint verifications, SECR submissions, social value calculations, Scope 3 screening and more. Hence experience in client management is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

– Conducting carbon footprint assessments and reporting using sustainability management software – from dealing with the client’s initial data submission, any data deficient, analysing their footprint and preparing and delivering their report.

– Conducting verifications of GHG assessments completed by third-party analysts to ensure quality and undertaking non-financial reporting in terms of Social Value analysis.

– Assisting in the preparation of tenders for advisory services

– Project management and delivery of sustainability consulting that is primarily data and footprint based, including scope 3 screening, SECR, sustainability engagement, research and policy and Net-Zero Carbon planning

– Client relationship management

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience – At least 2 years’ experience in carbon footprint accounting and knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting and standards e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064

– Experience in audit/verifications of corporate carbon footprints using a variety of standards, including ideally ISO 14064-3

– Strong mathematical and analytical background

– Excellent project management skills with a proven track-record of success

– Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and excellent IT skills

– Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail

– Demonstrable work experience within corporate sustainability and environmental management services.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience

– Knowledge of SECR, experience in scope 3 screening, development, and delivery of sustainability strategies for businesses

– Experience in preparing and winning proposals and projects for sustainability consulting

– Experience working with large, multinational companies, either in house or as consultancy

– Experience in sustainability engagement and communications

– Experience with sustainability software e.g. Sofi Salesforce

– Industry qualification (e.g. IEMA)

This is a full-time position, working remotely from home with weekly team meetings in London. Due to continued growth of our business, recruitment for this role is ongoing and therefore start date is flexible.

Salary: negotiable, and dependent on experience, but expected to lie with the range of £30-40K
