Key Responsibilities

Role Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) role holds responsibility for proactively cultivating relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyse business development success and maximise new client acquisition.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a strong, independent sales professional with at least two years sales experience and a passion for net zero, to increase the reach of Planet Mark across all sectors in the UK. (Bonus points for selling to the finance sector).
You will be part of an enthusiastic and purpose-driven team, who are passionate about helping businesses in their sustainability journey. The successful candidate will be an upbeat individual with knowledge of sustainability in business and net zero and expected to identify the needs of a business to develop and close leads, sell our products, and highlight additional packages and services to support them.
Applicants must have demonstratable sales success and ideally a background in sustainability. We would also welcome candidates who have extensive knowledge of selling into the UK finance sector, with a preference for London-based candidates.
Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Carbon Data Analyst to assist our Measurements team. You will be dealing with complex datasets and high volumes of data, as well as using multiple sources to collate data and produce reports.
The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, have a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Business Certifications:
• Create new accounts on Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 to support the certification process
• Analyse client data and evidence to ensure it has been correctly collated
• Collate client data using evidence, and identify any gaps or issues
• Generate certification reports and certificates to present carbon and social value data
• Support member and stakeholder meetings and queries
• Issue certification reports and certificates
• Support the head of measurement with any other roles
• Check certifications completed by other data analysts and consultants
• Create cumulative dashboards and reports on Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365
• Update cumulative reports for members
Other activities:
• Learn how to create reports and dashboards on PowerBI and create and update fields
• Updating and maintaining key contacts in Dynamics 365
• Updating and maintaining correct folder and file structures for clients
• Assist on product development as requested
• Assist on event certification delivery as requested

Preferred Skills & Experience

Role Overview:
As a Sustainability Consultant, you will lead projects focused on guiding clients towards sustainable practices and strategies. Your role involves managing a team of sustainability professionals, providing mentorship, and ensuring the team meets targets in line with the Planet Mark Strategy. With expertise in the industry and regulatory frameworks, you will collaborate with members to develop and implement sustainability initiatives. Your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will drive the success of projects, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the stream within the measurement team, leading internal and external analysts and consultants in the delivery of carbon footprint measurements using measurement systems, excel models and reporting for our wide range of clients as they aim to achieve Planet Mark Net Zero.
• Ensuring the stream deliverables are on time and at the required quality also providing expert advice and leadership.
• Regularly auditing data quality and efficiency of the analysts and consultants and ensuring delivery meets the measurement team’s KPIs and Planet Mark business strategy.
• Measurement system build and maintenance.
• Conducting measurements, verifications, and reporting of large carbon footprints against GHG protocol, financial reporting, and standards (for example, SBTi, ISO14064, CDP, TCFD, Social Value Portal).
• Project management (timelines, resourcing, costs, deliverables) and pipeline reporting of measurement advisory projects including but not limited to Scope 3, event footprints, bespoke carbon calculators, bespoke carbon footprint measurements, research, and policy.
• Client relationship management as required (any customer support – calls, meetings or workshops) to include where required attendance of member board/senior leadership meetings to present Planet Mark deliverables or assist BDMs/Sales to secure business.
• Supporting the measurement team and business via the delivery of in-house business excellence and process improvement (process flows and handbooks, guides – other documentation) projects
• Training all measurement team members on various relevant industry topics.
• Business development of measure steps for existing and new clients as required (Proposals, pricing, costs, technical expertise).
• Undertaking line management duties such as goal setting, appraisals and supporting the technical skills and career development of the team.

• 5 years’ experience in GHG emission inventories and reporting
