This critical period between 2020 and 2030, the Decade of Action, requires bold and ambitious commitments to tackle the climate crisis, and that means shifting to net zero carbon. We are excited to support businesses to reach net zero through our new Zero Carbon Solutions that are supporting business’ commitments, no matter what stage you are at.
Businesses that are net zero are measuring their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions to zero, and Scope 3 as close to zero as possible, offsetting any residual Scope 3 emissions using carbon removal offsets only.
You can find out more about net zero and why it is important in our earlier blog post here.
How Planet Mark can support your net zero journey?
At Planet Mark we embrace change as we transform ourselves and the world around us. The UK has set a net zero carbon target for 2050 and while 45 per cent of FTSE 100 companies have committed to achieving net zero by 2050 or sooner, only 16 per cent have a plan on how they will achieve it.
Our new Zero Carbon Solutions de-mystifies net zero carbon emissions and will support businesses in reaching it; no matter where they are at on their journey. From committing to a target to creating the action plan needed to get there, our Zero Carbon Solutions will support you.
Net Zero Carbon Essentials Workshop
This workshop is designed to help businesses feel confident in their first steps towards a net zero commitment, by identifying the businesses main emission sources and ways to cut them.
Net Zero Action Plan
Available to Planet Mark members, this training programme gives business leaders and up to 10 people within your business the tools and knowledge to create a credible Net Zero Carbon Action plan.
The ZeroBy30 programme supports organisations to accelerate from incremental to transformational climate action by developing commercially viable, action-oriented initiatives to achieve net zero carbon by as close as possible to 2030.
We have been hosting Zero Carbon Essentials Workshops as part of the Zero Carbon Tour, empowering businesses across the UK and the world with an overview of what net zero is and what it means to businesses. It’s been inspiring to hear the bold targets and goals businesses are setting in the Race to Zero.
