The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) requires large UK organisations to measure and report on their energy consumption every four years.  

To comply with the ESOS reporting requirements, in-scope organisations must detail an ‘action plan’ for reducing their energy consumption. They must also share progress updates in the subsequent two years. The policy is currently in Phase 4, with the next deadline for compliance being the 5th December 2027.
