The Alternative Pallet Company (Pallite), a packaging specialist that provides a viable alternative to wooden pallets and crates that is 100% recyclable, has achieved Planet Mark certification.
This is The Alternative Pallet Company’s second year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. Since certifying to Planet Mark, the company has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually.
The Alternative Pallet Company’s total carbon footprint in the year ending December 2020 was 587.9 tCO2e, a reduction of 25%. The Alternative Pallet Company’s total carbon per employee in the year ending 2020 was 19.6 tCO2e, a reduction of 25%.
The Alternative Pallet Company’s carbon reduction is the equivalent of stopping 19,250 gallons of diesel from being burned.
