Certification story

NuServe, a company providing Office Managers with convenient access to a first-class team of cleaners, porters, handymen, support technicians and supplies, has achieved certification to Planet Mark. 

This is NuServe’s first year of business carbon footprint reporting and certification to The Planet Mark. NuServe’s total carbon footprint in the year ending December 2019 was 26.3 tCO2e and the relative carbon footprint was 1.8 tCO2e per employee.

Fleet travel account for 74% of total carbon emissions, electricity account for 17%. Scope 3 emissions (waste, T&D, paper and business travel) accounts for 9% of total emissions. This year’s footprint includes emissions from purchased electricity, electricity transmission and distribution losses (T&D), waste, fleet travel, business travel and printing paper. 

NuServes has also reported on its Social Value contribution in the year ending 2019. Its contribution was £4,684,760. It reported on 9 Social Value measures with the top two contributors being employing local employees and suppliers.
