Morris + Company is a company of architects. They are listeners, makers, curators, narrators, experimenters and innovators. In this crucial Decade of Action, measuring its own carbon footprint has been a critical step in reducing its impact on the planet and society.

Achieving the Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders. 

This is the company’s second year of business carbon footprint reporting with Planet Mark. Since certifying to Planet Mark, it has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. Over the next year, Morris + company will be working towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others.

Through Planet Mark Morris + Company have protected an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation.

Through its commitment to Planet Mark Morris + Company is also helping the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how it can work together towards a better future.

The company has also measured its social value contributions. This refers to the net social and environmental benefits generated by our team. Measuring its social value gives a holistic insight into its positive contributions to not only the environment but also to society, demonstrating its commitment to meaningfully contribute to a better planet for all.

By being more strategic about our social responsibility, we will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.
