“We’re so excited about what embarking on this journey with the Planet Mark will bring. This partnership is a great opportunity for us to continuously improve as a business when it comes to our carbon footprint, by making sustainability one of our key business priorities for 2020 and beyond.”
First year certification is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability within its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.
Incubeta has already taken many steps towards becoming a sustainable business. Working with First Mile, the agency has implemented a comprehensive recycling and waste scheme. Its Old Street office is in a BREEAM Excellent rated building, with its energy sourced from renewable and gas supply offset using carbon credits. All of the positive changes have been reinforced by sustainability committees at Incubeta and for the Old Street office building it occupies.
Creative agencies need to learn to walk the walk on sustainability. Consumers want brands that align with their values, and these brands are ever more likely to require genuine sustainability. A good product is no longer all that is necessary to win over a potential customer. As well as providing clear knowledge on the issues impacting our planet, in a modern world agencies must show commitment from within to sustainable change.
As part of the Planet Mark certification, Incubeta has committed to make a year-on-year reduction.
