Certification story

Eco-Eco Stationery, a company that supplies stationery products with high eco credentials, has achieved Planet Mark certification. This is Eco-Eco Stationery’s second year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. It first calculated the carbon footprint of its Stourbridge office operations for the year ending December 2018.

Certification story

Eco-Eco’s aim is to instil confidence in its customers that buying an eco-eco product means buying a product that has been responsibly and ecologically sourced whilst managing to retain the affordability. Sustainability is embedded into Eco-Eco’s process and ethos, from sourcing materials to minimising packaging and using low-carbon couriers, the whole process is carefully considered from an environmental perspective.

Companies branded as ecological alternatives must be rigorous when measuring environmental impacts. Sustainable products represent some of the fastest growing emerging markets, with many companies proclaiming environmental credentials. However, this must be paired with genuine action. A carbon-reduction policy with clear and measurable targets can help ethical brands demonstrate the results of their hard work.
