Commercial, a leader in the procurement and distribution of office products, interiors, pre-printed material and computer consumables and a full-service office technology and software solutions supplier, has achieved Planet Mark certification.
This is Commercial Group’s third year of business carbon footprint reporting and certification to Planet Mark. It first calculated the carbon footprint of its UK operations for the year ending January 2018.
Commercial’s total carbon footprint for the year ending January 2020 was 1069.3 tCO2e, a decrease of 6.6% from the year ending 2019. The relative carbon footprint was 3.5 tCO2e per employee, a decrease of 8.4% compared to the year ending 2019.
The carbon saved by Commercial this year is the same amount as absorbed annually by nearly 100 acres of forest.
