Certification story

Chime Communications, the Global Challenger Network, delivering world-class specialisms across sport, communications and B2B, has achieved Planet Mark certification.

This is Chime Communications’ first year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. Since certifying to Planet Mark, the company has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually.

Chime Communications’ total carbon footprint in the year ending December 2020 was 1,278.6 tCO2e. Chime Communications’ total carbon per employee in the year ending 2020 was 0.6 tCO2e.

If Chime Communications achieves its carbon footprint reduction target, it will save the same amount of carbon as is sequestered by 78 acres of forest in one year.

Certification story

Chime Communications has made sustainable commitments beyond its pledge to continually reduce its carbon footprint. Chime has also pledged to protect an acre of endangered rainforest in South America with Cool Earth. The agency has also worked with a number of clients, including Unilever, to help bring their sustainability policies to life through targeted communications campaigns.
