Royal Warrant Holder, CH & Co Catering Limited are determined to improve how it does business in an environmentally friendly and fair manner. In this crucial Decade of Action, the company wants to ensure that it is a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring its own impact on the environment.

From sustainable sourcing and delivery to responsible sourcing and food waste reduction, CH & Co are taking a responsible approach to business operations. Over the next year, the catering company will continue to work towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others.

Clare Clark
Head of Sustainability
CH & Co Catering Limited
“We value a transparent and authentic approach to sustainability. Planet Mark’s third-party verification for our carbon impact and social value helps us demonstrate our credentials, benchmark our progress and proudly show our pledge toward continued improvement. Our stakeholders can be reassured by our commitment that fits with our wider strategic aims: to achieve net zero; to green our supply chains; to embed a culture of sustainability throughout the wider group and to minimise waste.”

CH & Co also measured its social value amounting to £1,356,048. This refers to the net social and environmental benefits generated by its team. Measuring the team’s social value gives a holistic insight into its positive contributions to not only the environment but also to society, demonstrating its commitment to meaningfully contribute to a better planet for all.

Through Planet Mark, CH & Co has protected an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth directly supports the Asháninka community in Central Peru.

It has also helped the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.
