Ashdown Phillips & Partners are a commercial real estate agency established in response to the need for a better and more sustainable way to manage property. At Ashdown Phillips & Partners, sustainability is essential to its practice, projects, ethics and ethos.
In this crucial Decade of Action, Ashdown Phillips & Partners want to ensure that they are a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring its own impact on the environment and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others.
The company has also measured its social value contributions which amounted to £58,220. This refers to the net social and environmental benefits generated by its team. Measuring its social value gives a holistic insight into its positive contributions to not only the environment but also to society, demonstrating its commitment to meaningfully contribute to a better planet for all.
By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, the company will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.
Through Planet Mark, Ashdown Phillips & Partners has protected an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth directly supports the Asháninka community in Central Peru.
It will also be helping the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.
To recertify next year Ashdown Phillips & Partners must reduce emissions by 2.5%.
A 5% year-on-year reduction is the target reduction recommended by Planet Mark.
