Artic Building Services Limited, a company delivering bespoke facilities management services for over 20 years, has achieved Planet Mark certification.
Achieving the Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.
Artic Building Services takes its role in the wider community very seriously. As well as the commitments made in Planet Mark certification, and achieving relevant ISO accreditations, the company is constantly looking for ways to improve environmental performance, as well as improve the safety standards for its staff and clients on site. This includes engaging their supply chain to help create collective action on sustainability issues through the offering of masterclasses.

Facilities management companies must acknowledge the rising importance of climate change as a corporate issue. Companies across the world are turning to their supply chains for answers to their environmental concerns, and B2B businesses must be equipped with the answers, or risk losing business.
To recertify next year Artic Building Services must reduce emissions by 2.5%.
A 5% year-on-year reduction is the target reduction recommended by Planet Mark.
