Certification story

Amber Construction Services, a construction company providing high-quality refurbishment and regeneration services out of Barking, UK, has achieved Planet Mark certification.

This is Amber Construction Services’ second year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. In this Decade of Action, the company wants to ensure that they are a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring its own impact on the environment.

Achieving Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.

Since certifying to Planet Mark, Amber Construction Services has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. Over the next year, it will continue to reduce its carbon emissions and share its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, Amber Construction Services will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.
