Hosted by Planet Mark in partnership with the Carbon Accounting Alliance, this session features representatives from the UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) will present the public consultation proposals for the UK Sustainability Reporting Standard (UKSRS), as well as guidance for sustainability assurance and transition plans. We will also hear from B4NZ, who are leading a DESNZ Net Zero Council initiative to develop voluntary guidance for UK SME Sustainability Reporting, helping to bring consistency and clarity to the data that SMEs are being asked to provide by corporates and certain policies.
If you are an organisation operating in the UK, this will be immensely relevant for your insight into how proposals may affect you, and for international organisations it will provide a useful perspective on what the UK market is doing, which may further inspire standards developed in other jurisdictions.
